Using the App

  • What is Minô?

    Minô is a mobile app that lists all kid-friendly places and activities in a city (playgrounds,museums, restaurants, hotels, etc.), validated and rated by the community.

  • Which devices is Minô available on?

    The app is available on iOS and Android, for smartphones and tablets.

  • How can I find a child-friendly place?

    Use the geolocated map and apply filters (children’s age, type of activity, distance, accessibility, etc.).

  • Can I add a place?

    Yes, any user can suggest a place. It will be reviewed and approved by our team before being published, to ensure it aligns with our values of inclusivity and kindness.

  • Can I leave a review or rating?

    Yes, you can share your feedback and photos, as long as you follow our moderation guidelines. Offensive or defamatory remarks will not be accepted.

Plans and Subscriptions

  • Is the app free?

    Yes, the basic version is free. Some features are reserved for Premium subscribers.

  • What is the Premium subscription?

    For €6.99/month, you get unlimited access to all places, advanced filters, exclusive tips, and downloadable content.

  • Do you offer other paid content?

    Yes, themed packs (€19, lifetime access), ebooks, and merchandise.

  • How can I pay for my subscription?

    By credit card via our secure in-app payment system.

  • Can I cancel my subscription?

    Yes, at any time. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current month (monthly plan) or year (annual plan).

  • How do I create an account?

    By signing up with your email or Google account.

  • I forgot my password, what should I do?

    Use the “Forgot Password” option on the login page.

  • Can I use the app without an account?

    No, you need to create an account to use our app.

  • How can I become a partner or list my business?

    Contact us via the “Professionals” form in the app or on our website.

  • Can I book directly on Minô?

    We are currently developing a booking feature via our affiliate links.

  • Is my data protected?

    Yes, we comply with GDPR regulations and never sell your personal data.

  • How can I delete my account and data?

    You can request this directly in the app (Settings -> Delete Account) or by email at hello@letsgomino.com

Points and rewards

  • What are Minô points for?

    Points reward your contributions to the Minô community. The more places, reviews and photos you share, the more points you earn and the higher your level rises. They unlock badges, help you climb the leaderboard and strengthen your status as a parent-explorer within the community.

  • How can I earn points?

    You earn points by actively contributing to the app:

    • Adding a new place validated by our team
    • Leaving a detailed review of a place you visited
    • Sharing quality photos of a place
    • Completing your family profile
    • Referring a friend who joins Minô

    Each validated action earns you a different number of points depending on its impact on the community.

  • When are my points credited?

    Points are credited automatically after your contribution has been validated by our moderation team. For a place or a review, this usually takes between 24 and 72 hours. Simple actions like completing your profile are credited immediately.

  • How does the leaderboard work?

    The Minô leaderboard displays the most active users in the community. You can view the top 10 as well as your own position in the Profile tab of the app. The more you contribute, the higher you climb and the more visibility you gain within the Minô family community.

  • What are levels?

    Each points threshold moves you up to a higher level, with a distinct title and color. Levels recognize your long-term engagement and are displayed next to your name in the leaderboard. It's our way of celebrating the most committed members of the community.

  • Can I lose points?

    Yes. If one of your contributions is reported and found to violate our guidelines (offensive content, false information, inappropriate photos), the corresponding points may be withdrawn. Our team will contact you in case of a significant deduction to explain the decision.

  • Can points be exchanged for rewards?

    For now, Minô points cannot be exchanged for monetary rewards or gifts. They reflect your engagement within the community and unlock badges, levels and greater visibility on the leaderboard. We are working on a rewards system that will be announced soon — stay tuned!

  • Where can I check my points?

    Your points, level and leaderboard position are all available in the Profile tab of the Minô app. You can also find a history of your contributions and every action that has earned you points.
