Our story

My name is Caroline Kempf-Dubost, and I’m the founder of Minô — an app created for families in search of simple, joyful adventures that are accessible to all children.

Minô didn’t start in an office. It was born out of deeply personal, human experiences. It came to me naturally, shaped by our life as a family.

The Turning Point: A Diagnosis, A Revelation

A few years ago, my son was diagnosed with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). Like many parents, I found myself facing everyday challenges I never expected. Going out, traveling, exploring... everything became more complicated. But never impossible.

That diagnosis was a turning point — a revelation: the world isn’t always designed for “different” children, but with the right guidance and the right places, anything is possible.

A Life of Travel, A Lifelong Passion

Before becoming a mom, I worked as a travel agent. I spent years helping others plan their getaways, before living my own life abroad — rich with discovery and human connection. My love for travel, new cultures, hidden gems, and meaningful family moments never left me.

Wherever we went, I searched for kid-friendly spots — places where everyone could thrive, play, learn, and rest. Whether it was a small playground in Tokyo or a child-friendly museum in Lisbon, I was always on the lookout.

Minô — Your Companion for Family Adventures

Minô was born from the union of my life as a mom, my professional experience in travel, and my desire to make the world more welcoming for all kinds of children.

Minô is more than just a directory of places. It’s a tool designed for you — parents who want to fully enjoy outings, weekends, and holidays, without stress or unpleasant surprises. Every destination on Minô has been tested, approved, and thoughtfully selected with families in mind.

Each location listed has been carefully chosen, taking into account the needs of children — whether they have ADHD, heightened sensitivity, or are simply curious and full of energy.
